I'm a professor for mathematical and theoretical foundations of computer science at the University of Applied Sciences Bonn-Rhein-Sieg (HBRS) and an adjunct professor ("Privatdozent") at the University Augsburg.

Research

Interests

My research interests are (non-classical) algebraic (modal) logic, vagueness by residual constructions and Galois-connections, logic knowledge discovery (aka "Machine learning") and relation algebras.

Teaching

Courses

I have to teach a lot. Most courses are on discrete structures and logics, both on Bachelor's and Master's level. If you attend any of my courses, please ask for teaching material during class. It is available as a hardcopy print.
